For the Outdoor Enthusiast
Sailing in Table Bay. Close to Woodstone you will find the False Bay Yacht Club and a little further afield South Africa’s Premier yacht club – The Royal Cape Yacht Club.
Dave, your host at Woodstone, sails a 31′ sailboat called Ocean Blue out of RCYC. Speak to him on how you can get afloat.
You can rent a kayak from Kayak Cape Town who operate out of Simons Town. There’s no better way to visit the penguins at Boulders Beach!
Woodstone also have two private kayaks available for rent. Please speak to your host Dave.

To join a guided hike you can contact the Mountain Club of South Africa to enquire. Otherwise, there are many areas and walks suitable for you to try on your own.
The surfing mecca of Muizenberg is just around the corner from Woodstone. Join the hundreds of surfers who daily spend their time in search of the perfect wave. Boards can be hired here.
Tourist Attractions
Ride the cable car up Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain. For the more adventurous, you can hike up as well.

Feed the squirrels and have a meal in the Company’s Gardens.
The Company’s Garden is a park and heritage site located in central Cape Town. The garden was originally created in the 1650s by the region’s first European settlers and provided fertile ground to grow fresh produce to replenish ships rounding the Cape. It is watered from the Molteno Dam, which uses water from the springs on the lower slopes of Table Mountain.
